    • Traditional fishing, yes, but with quality equipment!

    Trout in drift fishing seems at first sight relatively simple, even simplistic. The equipment is indeed reduced to its simplest expression: line, weights and a hook or a leaded nymph. In reality, it is one of the most complex trout fisheries where the angler must constantly adapt his lead, his bait and his line to each position he encounters. The action of fishing consists in picking out each vein of water by leading his line in order to present his bait, carried by the current, in the most natural way possible. The touch is manifested by a simple slowdown or stop in the drift and spontaneity and concentration are required. This type of fishing requires adapted equipment to optimize the casting and the line control while offering an optimal resonance and progressiveness.

    It's your fishing habits and the way you handle your rod that will determine your choice of handle. 

    1. Split grip kit with Fuji VSS16 reel seat : This cork grip kit is a classic. It's not specifically designed for toc rods but it allows you to get a comfortable grip, just like any other rod for predators, with a reel foot 35cm from the butt, for example. 
    2. Sliding toc handle kit : This cork handle kit is composed of a small butt, a long 35cm cork grip in top flor quality and a sliding reel seat. This handle kit allows the reel foot to be positioned perfectly and easily at the right distance. 
    3. Downlocking handle kit : This handle kit consists of a round butt, a reel seat designed for fly fishing but fit with small spinning reels and ritma reel. The 35cm cork grip in top flor quality offers a perfect grip. This handle kit allows the reel to be placed as far back on the rod as possible to reduce the weight.
