DS 721 X-RAY

The 721 is a blank that will fish very well from 2 to 10gr.

Designed for drop shot, it has a playful tip with a low hard point. It allows you to practice several fishing techniques to target perch in priority. It can be used with small cranks like Chubby srr, small jerks minnows, soft lures on a lead head from 2 to 7gr or of course in drop shot.

Its large taper allows it to have a large reserve of power. You won't be afraid of a passing pike, even a big one.

A light blank, very easy to handle, very reactive to combat and sensitive to the touch, what happiness!

X-RAY MODULE

Our new material High Modulus XRAY is the latest addition. It's HM because it's the highest level of module currently available, and named X-Ray because, like an X-ray machine, it will allow you to feel the tiniest vibrations. These are the lightest and strongest blanks we have ever produced.
HMx-ray blanks are 20% lighter than our current HM range, which is already incredibly light.
XRAY blanks are more resonant, and while we understand that resonance can sometimes be subjective, this is like feeling a shock in your arm, the aim being to give you a true reading of what is going on deep down.

The HMx-ray blanks are supplied unsanded, matt black, sanding the blanks makes them softer, the action of these blanks is dry

The resin used is specially developed for these blanks and stops what is known as micro-fracture propagation: even if you tap your blank and create a micro-fracture that will normally result in breakage sooner or later, this resin with its amazing properties will continue to resist the growth of the weakness, thus extending the life of the blank.

HMx-ray is based on a "no scrim" technology, the matrix is obtained by interweaving very fine fibres into each other. This construction technique with high modulus fibres makes it possible to obtain constant rigidity with less material.

The HMx-ray range is currently available in 6 models of blanks for carnivorous fish, but will be progressively extended to all our families of blanks.

Complete kit 721 X-RAY

In this rod kit we have selected the elements to match the blank. The objective is to keep the lightness and the resonance!

So we put on a carbon mini butt, a carbon loaded Alps reel seat and a KR concept Fuji guide rail with a Titanium Sic finish.

This building allows to obtain a rod under 100gr. This is typically the kind of rod that is built up with a short butt, around 28cm between the butt and the reel foot.
