    • Feel the caudal vibe !

    Fishing Seabass with big softbaits shad, or swimbaits, whatever the name you give them, is probably the best way to target the big seabass cowering at the bottom of the ocean. That's how we do it here in Brittany. The rules are simple. You need to cast the lure, generally across the stream, and as soon you the feeling of the bottom felt, to begin to animate the shad.You have to lift up the tip of the rod when reeling, then to carry the way down of the lure. Often the bites happens during this way down.

    Sensitivity, flex & casting ability

    The better blanks for soft swimbaits are able to cast a mile, they have a good sensitivity to allows you to feel the bites and the bottom of the water, and they can transmit you the vibe of the caudal. A good blank needs a bit lenght, 8' is ok, to cast and animate properly, and requires to be build with best materials, in order to be sensitive enough.
    We picked up three NFC blanks for the job, the three blanks comings from MB series, build with HM materials, carbon scrim tech. Better sensitivity, with incredibly light weight. You'll discover that thoses blanks got amazing casting skills, and really looks designed for this fishing style.
    1. The MB 805 HM is good for light weight, between 10–30 grs, it's a M program.
    2. The MB 807 HM is the most versatile of the range, for sets (righead + lure) between 20-60 grs. A best seller here in Brittany.
    3. And the MB 809 HM will be great for all heavy purposes, between 30-90 grs.
