Amberjack fishing

Speed jigging, slow jigging, fireballing, livebaiting and trolling are the main techniques for targeting amberjack. For a special fishing with livebait, please refer to the configuration on fishing in Corsica with the blank RCKJB 508-600.

1. Phénix MPX-566-C 1m68, 100-200gr, PE line 2-6 : A blank designed for speed jigging. Its power range allows it to be used in medium depths, between 30 and 100m knowing that the most used jigs are between 90 and 200gr. When rigged in 60lb, it will allow you to see what's coming in the event of a good encounter.
2. American Tackle Bushidow BNSLJ631XH 1m90, 120-300g, 40-65lb : A slow jig blank for a less tiring practice than speed jigging. This is a technique that is in full expansion and is ideal for casting. This blank will also allow you to take down a squid mounted on a fireball. The blank is not very tapered but the walls of the blank are very thick.
3. Rainshadow RCLB70XL 2m13 : A blank that allows you to practice trolling for denti or amberjack, with weights between 200 and 700gr at a slow speed of about one to two knots. The fibreglass tip dampens the movement of the lead and the high taper of the blank gives a very high power reserve.
