    • Carp fishing in ponds and canals

    When you fish for carp on calm, unobstructed waters, and when you can take the time to fight your fish without stress, you are entitled to enjoy the beautiful curve of a blank in action! Small canals and ponds are good places to fish for pleasure. Carp come in all sizes and do not give off as much energy as their wild river cousins!

    Bending blanks for maximum sensation

    There is no need for overpowering rods capable of throwing 130gr to the moon! This is the time to bring out the light blanks of intermediate lengths. Suitable lengths will be in the order of 11 to 12' and the power should not exceed 2.75lbs. The casting distances achieved with 80gr sinkers will be more than sufficient for these playgrounds. In these quiet waters and often with soft bottoms, the mouth of the carps will be softer and the use of nylon coupled with almost parabolic actions will avoid the stalls. These actions with magnificent curves will provide a lot of pleasure to fully enjoy the fight and this, on any size of carp!

    For this fishing, we have selected 3 blanks that meet these specifications:

    1. Harrison Ballista 11' 2.5lbs. A magnificent almost parabolic action for this legendary blank.
    2. American tackle ATREX 12' 2,5lbs. A blank that throws a long way and offers a lot of comfort and pleasure in combat. 
    3. Harrison Acurix 12' 2.75lbs. Pure parabolic action but with the reserve that will keep you safe from surprises!
