Disclaimer : All blanks can have small measuring marks. Do not forget to indicate your butt/reel seat distance to best fit your guide size.
All Purpose Freshwater, Panfish, Trout :
Blanks are constructed out of material blends (IM, HM, and X-ray). This means that a section of a blank may have two or three different materials to achieve a specific stiffness
Blanks are left un-sanded for added durability during transport, the outer coat of resin is tougher than any secondary coating/paint
Decal Areas are adorned with a cosmetic wrap of pre-preg, that once covered with a finishing epoxy results in a clean look where the carbon pattern shines through the finish
Ferrule ends are precision ground, which results in a perfect fit every time. Depending on the model, the ferrule type can be classic or reverse (one of the other is used depending on the stiffness of the blank to reduce flat spots at the ferrule) In some blanks a reverse/step up/butt over tip ferrule is used to preserve the original action of the blank
Blank design allows for individual sections to be replaced without the need for the remainder of the blank to be sent back to the factory
Medium travel blank!”
A travel blank, from the Freshwater serie, therefore rather intended for trout fishing. But, this blank is fast and can be used to catch all kind of predators, with soft or hard lures.
A 4 axis reinforcement is visible between 19 and 29.5 and between 50.5 and 70.5cm from the butt. The position of this reinforcement may vary slightly.
We invite you to watch our rodbuilding video tutorial series in the Tutorials tab from the site menu.
You can compare the characteristics of this blank via our Sorting Tool in order to compare it with all the references in our catalogue.
We provide you with The Comparator to give you an idea of the curves of the blank when it is flexed.
